Ebb, flow & essence

I moved from the beaches of South Africa to the rugged Sierra Nevada mountain range a few years ago. Although I miss the romance of watching the sunrise over the ocean, I'm learning to appreciate the world of four different seasons and big skies.

Spring is my favorite, I'm all for new beginnings. In summer it's wildflowers, lakes and sunshine. Autumn is pumpkin spice and vineyard coloured leaves. And, winter is a time for crackling fires, yarn and red wine.

One of my favorite modes of transport is my orange bicycle. I also love road trips: cars, trains and planes (but not necessarily airports). 

With good friends, dogs, books and a curious soul, life is one chaotic adventure.
